This is a limited edition number from an edition of 750, with 75 artist's proofs, twenty donation prints and ten publisher's proofs.


This print was released in October, 1998, and was printed using high-quality, light resistant inks and pH neural paper which meets Archival Standards. Image size is 12x17 3/4 inches. Paper size is 16 3/4 x 22 1/4 inches.

 

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Recongnized as a premier wildlife artist, Jerry Raedeke was exploring nuances of nature and painting his favorite subjects long before the genre became universally popular. Today, the broad acceptance of Raedeke's work can be traced to his finely honed artistic skills combined with an instinctive feeling for the American wildlife experience.

      Mr. Raedeke's wildlife art has received numberous awards and honors. He was named 1989 "Artist of the Year" for prestigious Southeastern Wildlife Exposition and "Artist of the Year" for the 1989 Minnesota Wildlife Hertiage Art Show.
      As a Life Sponsor of Ducks Unlimited, he has donated over 121 original paintings and 40 thousand prints, raising approximately $4 million for the orgaization's waterfowl restoration projects.
